Steinway & Sons Model C (7'5")

This is one of the best pianos we’ve ever seen come through our store, hands down. The Steinway C is a bit of an oddity in the US, as the New York factory stopped producing these for consumers in 1906, and stopped making them even for special orders in 1936. The C is still made by Hamburg Steinway in Germany.  This piano has been expertly restored and modernized, and has been refinished in High Gloss Ebony. It looks fantastic, and plays even better. The action is extremely quick, repetition is good, and the keys are just the right shape for those with medium to large fingers. The sound is balanced and resonant, and is clear across the ranges and dynamics of the piano. Completely restored in Europe.

Renner Hammers to Hamburg Steinway Specifications.  That means they are made of highest quality wool and under felt color is the same as the one made by Renner for Hamburg Steinways.
