Experience the magic as Dr. Richard Bosworth plays on the world-class Fazioli F278 concert grand at Northwest Pianos in Bellevue. Come join him as he explores the piano and its literature during the days of invention and ongoing development, a period spanning over 300 years. The evening's program includes works by Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, Rachmaninov, Scriabin, Ravel, and Bosworth.

My travels have taken me to nearly every major continent in the capacities of a recitalist, soloist, chamber musician, recording artist and competitor.
I received a baccalaureate from Eastman School. While earning a doctorate from Indiana University, I coached and studied under Menahem Pressler and Rostislav Dubinsky, Leonard Hokanson, Mario Feninger, Balint Vazsonyi and Michel Block, with numerous master class participations with Pinchas Zukerman, Gyorgy Sebök, James Tocco, Sequeira Costa and Elizabeth Schwarzkopf.
As a winner of several competitions, I competed in Moscow at the Tchaikovsky Competition and was a semifinalist at both the Beethoven Klavierwettbewerb in Vienna and the Pretoria Competition in South Africa.
Around Christmastime of 1999, I gave a guest performance at the White House in Washington, DC by invitation of President Clinton and the fifty State Governors.
In late 2005, I debuted the first interactive music program to combine internet resources and multi-media at Lincoln Center, New York.
During January 2008, I performed for the Pianoforte Foundation, Chicago. The performance featured the music of Frederic Chopin and was broadcast live on WFMT. Other radio appearances have included WQXR and SIRIUS Satellite Radio (New York) as well as WGBH (Boston).
In addition to playing all the major repertory, I consider myself a champion of contemporary works, often premiering them at convention workshops. I also enjoy jazz and composition as part of my creative output.
I reside in Seattle, Washington, where I teach and perform locally as a soloist and collaborative artist.
